Welcome to Gentle Sol Counseling and Wellness
Healing One Gentle Step at a Time.
About This Practice
My name is Brenda Soto, the founder of Gentle Sol Counseling and Wellness. I believe healing begins in spaces where you feel seen, supported, and accepted exactly as you are.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to provide a warm and welcoming space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin healing.
The name Gentle Sol reflects my belief that growth doesn't have to come through pressure or judgment. Like the warmth of the sun after a long season of darkness, healing can be gentle, nurturing, and transformative.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel unfamiliar or intimidating. That's why I am passionate about making counseling approachable, compassionate, and accessible for individuals and families from all walks of life.
No matter where you are in your journey, you are welcome here. Together, we can create space for hope, healing, and meaningful change, one gentle step at a time.

Meet Brenda Soto, M.A., LPC
I believe therapy should never feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you have to face life's challenges alone. Healing begins when you feel safe enough to be yourself, and my hope is that you feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. Credentials and experience matter, but what matters most is finding someone you feel comfortable with. My hope is that from our very first conversation, you feel welcomed, respected, and supported.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over four years of experience providing mental health services, primarily working with adolescents and young adults. I have supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and family conflict.
As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to make mental health care approachable and accessible while honoring each person's unique experiences, values, and culture.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate creative interventions such as art, music, books, play therapy, sand tray, and other expressive activities alongside practical tools to support your healing and growth.
One thing I often tell my clients is:
"I only know what you choose to share with me, and I can only help with what I know."
Therapy isn't about having all the answers. It's about building a relationship rooted in honesty and trust so you can better understand yourself, discover your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, I am here to provide a warm and welcoming space where healing, growth, and new beginnings are possible.
I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Let’s Work Together
